Abstract. The article examines the problem of subjectivity of international integration within the framework of regional civilizations in the context of the formation of a multipolar world order. It is noted that the existing theories of international integration mainly consider states and international organizations as the main participants in integration processes, paying insufficient attention to the role of subnational actors. In this regard, the author’s concept of an integrator region is proposed as an entity capable of initiating and supporting international humanitarian cooperation within the framework of a regional civilization. The theoretical provisions of the article are tested on the example of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), analyzed in the context of the Altai civilization. It is proved that the expressed civilizational identity makes it possible to consider the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) as an integrator region of the Altai civilization. It is concluded that the proposed concept expands the theoretical understanding of the subjects of international integration and can be used to study the mechanisms of institutionalization of regional civilizations in modern international relations.
